Diese Forschungsarbeit stellt einen Algorithmus vor, mit dem ein gegebener Klang daraufhin untersucht werden kann, ob er aus den Kombinationstonspektra eines oder mehrerer verborgener "Kernklänge" besteht. Die rückwärtige Berechenbarkeit von Kombinationstönen wird weltweit zum ersten Mal in dieser Arbeit vorgestellt. Der beschriebene mehrstufige Algorithmus "destilliert" sämtliche Kerne eines beliebigen Klangs. Er erlaubt auch das Beimischen von "Störtönen" zum gegebenen Klang und benötigt als Eingangsinformation nur eine Liste von Frequenzen (er kommt ohne zusätzliche Pegel- oder Phaseninformationen der einzelnen Frequenzen aus). Den Anhang bilden umfangreiche mathematische Beweise.

Ein Simulationsprogramm für reverse Kombinationstöne ist Bestandteil des Forschungspakets.

Abstract:

This research package introduces an algorithm, which makes it possible to analyze a given sound, if he contains resulting tone spectra (sometimes also known als combination tone spectra) of one or more hidden "Kern" sounds (kernel sounds). The possibility to reversely calculate resultant tones is introduced in this treatise for the first time worldwide. The described multistage algorithm "distills" all Kern sounds of a given sound. He allows the presence of "disturbation pitches" in the given sound and uses a simple list of frequencies as an input (no phase or amplitude information is needed). The appendix consists of numerous mathematical proofs.

A simulation program for reverse resultant tones is part of the research package.
